WHAT IS BETHSAIDA HOUSE?
v “Bethsaida,” which means House of Grace or House of Outpouring, is an ecumenical ministry providing healing prayer for the broken, hurting, sick, or despairing of heart. Bethsaida House is a safe and confidential environment.
v A training center for those interested in pursuing Christian healing prayer.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF HEALING PRAYER?
This healing house is good for the city because whole persons make for whole communities, and the health of any city begins with the health of the individuals who live there. Our goal is wholeness of the total person: mind, body, and spirit. Healing may come in many ways. In seeking a reprieve from physical symptoms only, one might miss the healing that comes from addressing the inner issues of anger, depression, loss, grief, or bitterness. Lack of forgiveness, too, is a deadly illness of the soul and can be the root cause of a physical malady. Inner healing often manifests as physical healing.
Our History
Bethsaida House was founded in 2004 by Lynn and Ida Page, along with a board of directors, to bring a permanent healing ministry to the Columbus area. Current board members include: Mr. and Mrs. H. Lynn Page, Mrs. Betty Roberts, Mrs. Nancy Sheek, and Mrs. Helen Brooks. Advisory board members who have acted as consultants to Bethsaida House from its inception are the Rev. Dr. Jack and Anna Marie Sheffield and Mrs. Norma Dearing.
Jack and Anna Marie Sheffield gave up their parish responsibilities to devote their full time to Deep River Ministries, which they founded in their home state of Texas. Together they conduct missions and conferences around the globe in addition to serving as consultants to the house of healing prayer here in Columbus, Georgia, and founders/directors of Christ Healing Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Norma Dearing is executive director of Impact Communications Ministries and featured on the radio program, "The Healing Touch." Norma speaks nationally and internationally about prayer for healing and previously served as Director of Prayer Ministry at Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, FL, with Francis and Judith MacNutt. We are pleased to have Jack, Anna Marie, and Norma---each widely respected in this field---as special advisors to our ministry.
OUR STAFF
Our Director of Ministries is Brian Hite, who joined Bethsaida House after 11 years in corporate management. Joining Brian and our Board is a group of devoted, trained intercessors who volunteer their time toward the mission of Bethsaida House---and we are always adding more intercessors.
